Frenford offers a daily youth mentoring programme to support young people with confidence, wellbeing, relationships, school, employment, and everyday challenges.

Young people can speak to a member of our mentoring team at the club on weekday evenings between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

Detached Youth Work

Alongside our work inside the club, Frenford also delivers detached youth work in the heart of Ilford.

Our detached team takes youth work directly to young people on the streets, offering positive engagement, mentoring, support, and a trusted adult presence in the community.

Building trust is at the centre of this work. Once relationships are formed, our team can help young people access wider support including mentoring, counselling, sport, residential opportunities, employability support, and guidance around staying safe.

This project is funded by the London Violence Reduction Unit through MyEnds and supported by Redbridge Council.

Frenford continues to invest in young people, believe in them, and find new ways to reach those who may need support most.
