TEAM OPPORTUNITIES
Frenford provides competitive sporting opportunities for juniors and adults across football, cricket and table tennis.
From beginner-friendly recreational sessions to established senior teams competing in organised leagues, we offer clear pathways for participation, development and competition at every level.
Please note: Competitive badminton and basketball opportunities are currently delivered through Redbridge School Games.
Junior Development Pathways
Many young people begin through our recreational sessions, where they can develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game in a supportive environment.
Our coaching staff use these sessions to identify players who may be ready to progress into competitive team environments. Trial periods and opportunities are communicated throughout the season where appropriate.
FOOTBALL
JUNIORS

Our junior football section includes teams from Under 8s through to Under 18s competing in the Echo League and Eastern Junior Alliance League.
WOMENS AND GIRLS

Our women's side was developed in partnership with Muslimah Sports Association. Frenford & MSA junior teams compete in the Hackney Marshes League, while our First Team competes in the GLWFL.

SENIORS

Frenford also has multiple adult sides competing across non-league football, with the highest level currently competing at Step 5 in the Essex Senior League.

CRICKET
Frenford Cricket offers competitive opportunities from junior cricket through to adult teams, creating a clear pathway for player development across the club. We have junior teams competing across both hardball and softball cricket.
The club also runs multiple adult teams alongside the Frenford Kestrels women’s section, which includes junior and senior sides.

TABLE TENNIS
Frenford currently has junior teams competing in the Becontree Table Tennis League, with established pathways into adult competition in the Romford Table Tennis League.
Young people interested in joining are encouraged to attend training sessions on Tuesdays.
