Would you like to gain valuable skills and make a difference to the lives of young people?
We have opportunities in,
Youth Work

Supervising and helping to run a building

Creating events
Our volunteers keep young people stimulated and offer support mainly through our sports initiatives but also with structured and fun week and weekend residential. Our main strength has been in encouraging young people to attend accredited and nationally recognised courses such as Sports Leadership Awards, First Aid, Youth Leadership and YMCA run youth work courses. Frenford Clubs has seen dramatic changes in the young people who attend these projects and have particularly been pleased with the numbers of young people who return and become volunteers.
Whilst with us, you will help run and support a wide range of activities from cricket, football, dance and education which are all run by qualified coaches. Volunteers are   supported by qualified youth workers who identify and support them with any additional identified needs and training opportunities are offered.

“Thank-you Frenford for always looking to reward us for our hard work at Frenford – I have now renewed my first-aid & safeguarding qualifications at Jack Carter Centre. The qualifications have equipped me with the skills I need to fulfill my role at Frenford.”
